Cheers, if you are wondering where the light has come from, it is from a reflector bouncing the light back up under her, she seemed to like this and did not hiss at me once.
This tells me that she was relaxed and did not see me as a threat, even with my macro lens right in her face.

Thanks Daenna, Robert & vjbm. I have been bitten twice in the past, not a nice experience, but as you know by getting closer you acieve better quality images.
Got to remember that this is the dangerous one and not to keep putting my hands and feet in front of them.
I Have been bitten on both legs, just above the ankle. A bite from this snake can be fatal to young children, old people and people with heart problems. Thankfully, i am and have none of the above.
