Slemish Mountain where legend has it that Saint Patrick worked as a slave herding livestock. It is only 1500 feet high but it is a volcanic plug with a very distinctive shape that sits above the Antrim plateau.
Another beautiful shot of your surrounds Viv....I love the soft light too, and the patchwork of greens.....I have noticed that on all the paddocks there seems to be little or no livestock?.....lovely scene.....Alan
The green, green grass - very Irish (reminds me of England, too). Try cropping the bottom where that left stone wall begins (to get rid of that ugly patch of bitumen) and about 1 cm from the sky - make it more panoramic. For Alan - sigh! - there ain't no paddocks in Europe - there are FIELDS!!!! Janhttp://janpudney.net/ http://jaypea.redbubble.com/
Fantastic Viv....I need to come over or some lessons!
We had a trip away to North Eastern Victoria for a few days and my landscape shots would look better if I had left the lens cap on...john We're off to see the Lizard~~the wonderful (sic) Lizard of Oz~~
