No this is not overcooked - it is brilliant! Well seen and titled. A perfect use for hdr. (Where is this abandoned hospital building? I love old Victorian hospitals in particular - they date from an era where they still gave utilitarian buildings grace.) The lighting is terrific! Viv

It's not overdone, as evidensed by the fact I had no idea you hdr'd it until I read your comment. I quite imagine you walked into this scene and gasped over the possibilities that lay ahead. I know that I stare longingly at old buildings while my non-photographer associates turn up their noses. Excellent, excellent results.

Wow! Thank you everyone for your lovely comments. Viv, The hospital, which is of truly stunning architecture is near the Welsh border. Sadly, it has been derelict for some 16 years and is due for demolition.
Chris, I could have spent days, weeks here as there were so many images to be had. We spent the best part of 6 hours there and came away with a wealth of photographic history.
I know what you mean about non-photographers... my friends and colleagues think I'm barking! lol
