Now this is odd; I commented on this earlier, but here I look and there's no words. Eh? Well, you realize that the first time something eloquent is said is the best, but in my colender of a memory, I think I praised you for the fine art look to this image. Everybody should try to have a bird shot just like this. This is the kind of image I'd vote for, were I on the judging panel and the subject 'birds' came up again.
This is all noir/mystery/suspense. I cannot fault the lighting, and the moment you capture the bird. It is sublime. However, the crazy angle, and linings, are just a tad overpowering, and is probably not easy enough on the eye as it could be - it has anxieties that vie against its brilliance as a photo! All in all a great shot. jOhN
