Amanda, I like this alot! This is a great idea.
Perhaps you could get some shots of some real oil paint drips and stick them in. This makes me think of the movie "What Dreams May Come" with Robin Williams.

Ah yes.... how could I be critical after so many 10's? but seeing as you asked...
The original flower before you messed with it looks to have been a great image...
The more creative types have raved...the best I ever got in grade school for art was "tries hard" and I think the teacher took pity on me so anything too creative pings the wrong side of my brain.
The bright top pulls the eye away from the flower which I presume is the main subject.
I have this thing about watermarks.
The white background glares at me..
Other than that it is grate!
I have gotten old and grumpy...
