This looks like HDR. Love the path to the lighthouse and the composition - lovely shot! Viv

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

That's one wonky lighthouse and weird horizon, but I'd love to dive into that seeweed! Jan

I'm thinking a wide angle lens was used, but there's no EXIF to back up this private theory. Anyway, it's one of those arresting photos that stops the viewer cold and makes them look for a while.

Thanks for the comments, appreciated. You're right, this was taken at 16mm on the full framed Canon 5D. I've never been one for correcting the problems caused by shooting at wide angles ;0) The EXIF information was stripped out because this is a HDR image from 4 different exposures.

Thanks,
Gav

Super comp, the pale lead in, and position of the lighthouse is spot on.
The new DPP has very good lens correction, I don't the current crop of HDR software has it built in. I am enjoying Hydra at moment and it works well enough with its morphing technology inside Aperture.
