Statue of St. John of Nepomuk on Charles Bridge, Prague. He is the Patron Saint of discretion, floods and slander. Murdered on the orders of Wenceslas IV (not the good one). Legend is you place your hand on his image and make a wish which will come true, including your return to Prague, hence the well polished area.
wouldn't have had the same impact without the black & white. Very nice work.
p.s. I have to share my chuckle for how it made me do a twist on the famous Disney song... 'when you wish upon a bum' .. ok, I'll stop now."The poetry of photography will always be more important than the mechanics of the camera..." - J-H. Lartigue
Nice use of creative colour as the others have said. The B&W is a little flat and punching up the contrast a little would make it even more dramatic...john We're off to see the Lizard~~the wonderful (sic) Lizard of Oz~~
