I like it...nice image sharpness and great angle...two suggestions which you can accept or reject...
1 see if you can tone down the white of the stalk a little as it draws the eye.
2 clone a little background and add to the top as it looks a little cramped....john We're off to see the Lizard~~the wonderful (sic) Lizard of Oz~~
Im with John, very nice, like the textures in the mushroom stem and the colors! Maggi

if I may say, I was wondering if we could refrain from the 'I'm with so and so'... i find it divisive in nature even if it's not intended to be. You can tell me to shut up if you want. I agree with the tips offered. The stem seems over-sharpened. If there was sharpening used, I'm guessing it may not have needed any. It's a unique mushroom and the colors are vibrant. I would prefer more space above the mushroom but also understand the juggle of macro...."The poetry of photography will always be more important than the mechanics of the camera..." - J-H. Lartigue
Its a fly agaric,i have been trying to find one of these for ages. But when i do find one they are usually half eaten by something.Well done you for finding it
