I am just messing around. Have a new macro lens and the wind will not stop blowing to let me play with it!! Never properly tried high key before; please feel free to tell me how I should do it.
Cracking shot Viv,not sure how you improve on this except darken the back wing slightly to give it more detail.However i don't know much about high key,all i know is i like it lol

Thanks Amanda. As far as I can make out it is an image with more white in it than dark and a somewhat reduced contrast. This was done on my grandmother's garden bench which has greyish white primer on it. I am not sure if what I have done after that is right though.. Viv
Don't know about high key Viv....but the detail on the fly turned out great....I get high key shots all the time without even trying......just get a backlit subject and use spot metering...lol.....I don't think that is how it is done though, somehow....Alan
