Well I think this could be in with a good chance in the comp - I like everything about it.The hidden harmony is better than the obvious. Alexander Pope (1688-1744)
Way cool!!! Love the tones and shadows. What is the Yellow globe though? I can see a line running behind it, If you added it in you did an excellent job!!
~In His Love~ Maggi D For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16
So I am glad I was not the only one to think of the Beatles when the topic was announced. I love the song but it was stuck in my head all last week.
I have no idea what I am looking at but it is really cool. Great composition here.
-Regards Robert
Hi! and thank you for your comments and Hey Maggi, thank you for the compliment, but I can't take credit. Robert, I too have had these lyrics in my head all week too! I thought of calling it 'I can see clearly'... now the rain has gone...' but the Beatles kept taking over
As for what it is... sorry, I should have given a bit more information in the photo details box, so here it is...
This was an installation at the Tate Modern called the Weather Project by Olafur Eliasson taken in 2004 in the Turbine Hall.
The exhibition consisted of a huge semi-circle of golden light reflected in a mirrored ceiling. The ceiling was covered in hundreds of slightly offset mirrors giving the upper reflected half of the 'sun' a slightly uneven edge and it was this effect that gave it a 'real' feel.
There was also a slight foggy haze aswell as a low humming noise, which gave an overall sensation of joy. Each time I look at this image I remember this wonderful sensation... maybe I should take a print and hang it somewhere ... maybe at work! lol
Cheers

Although I saw Bourgeois' Spiders, and that 'crack' in the ground (hee hee), I am still kicking myself that I missed this one at the Tate! A great photo. jOhN
Doh! I missed both those installations! Thank you for your comment and rating.
