My young fox from yesterday. I could have cropped this but I like the way the grass has framed her so I thought I would just keep this atmosphere. This was as she was working her way around me. I could be wrong about not cropping. Recropped and the grass stalk removed.
Lovely image Viv, i would have cropped it to to 571 x 531 from the left, this takes the cub from the middle and you would still have a kind of framing. It's a super shot though.
Lovely Viv.....so trusting (for a fox).....sometimes I think the feeling generated in the picture comes from the surrounds, not the subject.....the out of focus foreground grass is a natural frame and gives the feeling of a secret look into her world......I like it just like this.......Alan
This is even better than the previous one - what a sweet face. I think John's suggestion about the crop is a good one - and I'd also get rid of the (?)grass growing out of the top of his head. Wonderful lighting and colours and feeling. Lucky you having a subject who seems to like you! Janhttp://janpudney.net/ http://jaypea.redbubble.com/
Thank you very much Alan, Jan and Rob. I have recropped and removed the errant grass stalk...Lol. I have not cropped very much as for me this shot was about the ambience of the scene as much as the fox - exactly as you said Alan. Viv
Lovely ambience and lighting, Viv! I agree with you and Alan, I like it the way it is! So lucky to be able to capture this clever little fox, and with the beautiful sparkling grass land habitat. Daenna
I dont know what you did or what the original looked like but this is great as is Viv. The lighting is wonderful and the colors are great.
