A mother Osprey sits on a perch alongside her 3 juveniles. The juvenile chicks will have spotted feathers for at least 18 months.

Great shot Amanda.....they look fully feathered, so you will lose them soon....but they will be out there somewhere, living their life......all your series have been interesting, and you can do it all again next seasonSmile......Alan

Thanks for all your comments. This is a different nest. These chicks are a little older than mine. I spent the holiday on the eastern end of Long Island. Osprey chicks will return every night to the nest until it's time to migrate south for the winter. Thanks again, everyone. Smile!
