I am pleased to be the first person to comment on this lovely image, almost looks like a postcard shot. It makes me want to visit the cathedral. I love the framing. The saturation, Focus and techs are spot on. Thanks for sharing it.

It's the Photographer that takes the Photo not the Camera.

I know Ely very well. This is a great photo and has captured the feel of the building and the beautiful setting. The problem I have had, and appears in this and many photos of Ely Cathedral is the lack of definition between the lead of the Nave roof and a pale sky. Any ideas how to get over this?

Hi Chris. Pleased you like the shot. I should of taken more care when processing my final image in PS. To get over the problem of the roof I would of masked off the area of roof and using levels just toned down the roof a tad so that it stood out from the sky. Well spotted......Dave
