I'm with Chris - not sure about the ps work, that's not quite my thing but i know a lot of people do like this look, but the capture is spot on - you've really caught those facial expressions, and the little boy's face makes me crack - the caption says it!

Stick to your guns, Frank. Photograph how you like first, how others like afterward. Even though it might get you fewer comments in the long run, your artistic soul will be well-rewarded.
