The thing that first struck me about this image was fact the parasol seemed almost to be resting on the horizon, maybe a lower viewpoint would have given some separation as in the other parasol, i like the almost CYMK colouring of seat.
John, thanks. I agree, probably lower viewpoint would be better. I was attracted by colours of the seat with corresponding colour of the women's shirt and by women's pose, a bit ceremonious, like from Victorian epoch (from my understanding of it as a foreigner, may be wrong). And I was afraid the she will notice that I'm shooting her. The lesson for me is to train "automatic" skills to get the most right viewpount almost without "brain creaking".
