In my opinion this image is far too bright Dave, i do not like hdr images, i have yet to see one that looks real, just my opinion, i think a levels adjustment helps this a little, try an adjustment layer and set these values 20...0.7...240, just a thought.
Hi John. I tried your idea and set the values as suggested but it started to burn out the highlights and lose detail in the shadow area. I will upload it later......Dave
With respect Dave the values i gave would not burn out highlights as the 240 value is 15 less than pure white and a value of 20 as opposed to 0 is really quite marginal, the most noticeable area should have been the mid tones.
