Louie the blow fly in white

Louie the blow fly in white

Sad life I lead at the moment - have not been far! This blow fly was on a white flower in front of our white wall.

I know how you feel you told anyone,(other than a mad snapper) that you were photographing blow flies, they would all start nudging each other and look they wouldn't have such a great picture of Louie as you have....the colours are amazing against the white and terrific detail....and the dof is perfect......really well done....SmileAlan

Viv this is a great shot even if it was taken inside the house.

I must have missed this, glad I just saw it in the responses! Those pesky power posters!...I'll blame them for the shots that I miss...LOL! Wow Viv!!! After Louie was done visiting you and Maggi, he stopped by here. I slammed the door in his face!... Does that make me a bad person?...LOL! Louie is quite the catch and on that beautiful flower. I'm loving the contrast too, this really makes his luminousness stand out!!! What kind of flower is that??? Hope you take a snap of that too it's really beautiful! Smile! Daenna

PS: Great Lens!

This is an amazing photo. So much detail you "macro-magician". I love the reflections on his body. I would also like lessons. Cat
