I'll just have another nibble on the mushroom and we can go out and howl.....the angles are really well done Amanda.
My only niggle to make this one of your top images would be to crop just tp the left of the LH post to get rid of the part boat and clone out the tie rope...super shot...john We're off to see the Lizard~~the wonderful (sic) Lizard of Oz~~
Yep... I agree much better, the eye does not go looking there anymore and stays inside....john We're off to see the Lizard~~the wonderful (sic) Lizard of Oz~~
Don't know what it was like before cause someone has taken the rope away and the boat has gone lol .Wonderful image Amanda, super tones and composistion, one of your best i think
AHA! When I saw the original I thought - get rid of that boat on the left - looks like John beat me to it. I think you could crop half of the sky to make it more dramatic and give a feeling of looking up to the boat. Really good shot as it is, but even better because it's got so much 'fiddle room' about it. So many lovely leading lines. Janhttp://janpudney.net/ http://jaypea.redbubble.com/
I have to agree with Jan about cropping the sky... if you scroll just a tad down, it would add so much dramatic feel to it.
Just my suggestion because it is well done!
~Kelly
PS... This is much better than the first!
Beautiful Amanda! Great contrasts and angles. Possibly your best to date.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think I may agree about cropping the sky (please don't interupt me until I'm finished with my waffle! ...wonder if anybody knows what the heck I'm talking about...too early...note to self, don't comment at 6:30am). Anyway, I really do like the shot, and I applaud you for being out and about and making art at 11 at night.
I can just see u out dancing i the moonlight! Good for you and well worth it!!

I'm surprised to be honest. I'm still tinkering and trying to learn HDR. I'm going out again today in search of "hdr-able" subjects. I will give it a crop as suggested.
Thanks for all the kind remarks and generous ratings. My Gallery
