It's photos like this that make me think I could quite like insects one day (one day, far away!) - a bit too much white for me, but Mr Wasp is almost lovable. Great detail. Jan

Nice detail and the white backgound makes it stand out. I believe it is a winged ant wich is on its way to create a new colony. Wel thats haw the ants over here look like when they take to the sky. The fat abdomen would suggest full of eggs. In africa termites take to the sky in vast numbers and the people colect them for good. Tastes alot like pork crackling.
