Something different from me. I was not happy with this and intended to go back the following night to perfect it ... but then things got busy..Lol! I will get it to my satisfaction in the future - I know what I want to do to it. Recropped as I think everyone intended.
Thats a beautiful Image Viv, Love the reflected Light of the water and the slight
sepia tone, me thinking out loud I think i would have cropped out that bit of wall
on the L/H side as it seems to Distract from a cracking good Image, then what do
I know!.........Jimmy.
The thumbnail instantly caught my eye Viv. I agree about the cropping. The foreground is so bright that it takes your attention away from the lighthouse.
I hope all is well. I am looking forward to next month when I may have more time to get involved here again.
-Regards Robert
I agree, the wall cropped off to the first rung of the iron rail for me. Lovely contrast and lights Viv my girl!!

Lol!!! I love all the differing comments!! Bridget that is a good idea ..as usual I was wearing out the patience of someone and there are no brownie points owed to me(yes a new lens would be a great idea ....play that one hard - I intended to answer you but I have been chasing Budgie buzzard the last 2 days lol!). Thanks every one else - can you all clarify the cropping instructions - I am confused between vertical and horizontal...lol! Viv
Magic!....my first reaction when I saw it was "what a fantastic composition", then I read all the comments and must say now "what a fantastic composition"...lol....the purple and golds work beautifully together, and that one white light is the "magic" bit....better than the red and black umbrella shot Viv....Alan
Magic, magic, magic . . . Looking forward to seeing what you do to this. Apart from that little bit of wall I cannot imagine better. CatIt's not what you look at that matters, it's what you see ~ Henry David Thoreau
