Something different from me. I was not happy with this and intended to go back the following night to perfect it ... but then things got busy..Lol! I will get it to my satisfaction in the future - I know what I want to do to it. Recropped as I think everyone intended.

Thats a beautiful Image Viv, Love the reflected Light of the water and the slight
sepia tone, me thinking out loud I think i would have cropped out that bit of wall
on the L/H side as it seems to Distract from a cracking good Image, then what do
I know!.........Jimmy.

Give Us morrrrrrrrrrrrre Viv Smile
This is incrediably beautiful!
I agree with Jimmy... I think I'd crop it just before the wrought iron begins.

Thank you very much Jimmy and Kelly. You are probably both right about that bit of wall. Not sure why I did not crop it!! Viv

The thumbnail instantly caught my eye Viv. I agree about the cropping. The foreground is so bright that it takes your attention away from the lighthouse.

I hope all is well. I am looking forward to next month when I may have more time to get involved here again. Smile

I agree, the wall cropped off to the first rung of the iron rail for me. Lovely contrast and lights Viv my girl!!

This is lovely Viv,but if you did go back go a little more to the left and the lighthouse would be in full view Smile

Lol!!! I love all the differing comments!! Bridget that is a good idea usual I was wearing out the patience of someone and there are no brownie points owed to me(yes a new lens would be a great idea that one hard - I intended to answer you but I have been chasing Budgie buzzard the last 2 days lol!). Thanks every one else - can you all clarify the cropping instructions - I am confused between vertical and! Viv

Magic! first reaction when I saw it was "what a fantastic composition", then I read all the comments and must say now "what a fantastic composition" purple and golds work beautifully together, and that one white light is the "magic" bit....better than the red and black umbrella shot Viv....SmileAlan
