Hey, Jimmy, good pic. I noticed you had a large amount on the front page, and looking back a page in your gallery, I see you bulk loaded before. On the other hand, it's been more than a month since your last upload, so I'm guessing you are trying to make up for lost time. You should know this pushes other images off the front page, which reduces some peoples' chances of gathering views and comments.
Soapbox moment done, let me get back to this picture. I think it's the best of the old house shots you have here, and I think the monochrome has a lot to do with that. It seems to firmly seat the viewer (me) in the past, and allows all sorts of nostalgia to come through. To me, there just seems to be more emotion in pictures of old buildings that are captured in monochrome (or duotone or tritone...you get the idea.)
