Yeah, about eye level...I was trying out the "Live View" function on my SLR and hung the camera out the side of the kayak. Not necessarily practical (auto focus doesn't work with Live View) and maybe not all that wise, but hey, what price art, eh? My camera has gone in for repair (Grr) because of waves crashing over the bow about 30 minutes before this shot. By evening, my camera became a loaf of toast.
