a whiter shade of pale

a whiter shade of pale

My mum (pudnpie) bought me a compact digital camera for Christmas in the hope I might share her enthusiasm.
I've just got back from a holiday in Spain and I took this in Girona.

I think mum's quite pleased with it Smile

Oooo! thank you everyone! I'm so pleased you like this photo. I must have taken more notice of my mum than we both had realised.

Who knows, maybe when she upgrades, she might let me have her d70 Wink but then again...maybe not...
Thanks again

You've got two great shots here - one of the arch at left with the stairs, and the other with part of the pillar and both lanterns - minus the door. As it is, for me, there's no place for the eye to rest although I end up with the door on the right., The overall feel, though, is lovely - tranquil. Jan

Well done Laura, I can see I'm gonna have some serious competition here Wink

Lol at Richard and John - I guess I am getting old, but still young at heart!

I tend to agree with desertpea, but for a first attempt at some serious photography, I think you did well... erm what's all this about my d70? You'll have to wait and see Wink

love mum

Gosh 'B' it had slipped my mind that you started out with a d70s way back when... here I am still with my little d70 Wink It'll be a while before I can afford to upgrade... I'll have to wait and see what father Christmas brings!
