Lovely image, sharp as a tack... Jimmy, I notice you have the D300 too, and you've stopped down on the exposure, I have noticed the same this end as well, have you adjusted the sharpness on the D300 as well, as apparently quite a few are coming out with slightly soft images, according to Nikon, this is so, post processing can be done and you can sharpen as much as you like, or not of course.
Regards
Thanks John, and yes Gazza I have adjusted the camera sharpness slightly and
finish of the rest in PS, Digitals cameras are fitted with an antialias low pass filter
fitted in front of the sensor which reduces aliasing or (jaggies) before it's resharpned by the processor, thats why Digital Images still need a little more
sharpning when prossessed on a PC,..........Jimmy.
Cheers for the info Jimmy, some D300's were recalled cos of focusing problems, and to be honest I wasn't overly happy with mine until I adjusted the settings a little, now, I wouldn't be without it, although, my D50 stays with me at all times also...
Regards
Excellent!
