'Captain Chainsaw'

These chainsaw sculptures were commissioned by Guildford Borough Council, Parks & Countryside Service.

They have been carved by AD and Andy. AD, aka 'Captain Chainsaw' was the first of the famous Tree Pirates to go solo.

He is best known for his huge chainsaw art exhibited at the Glastonbury Festival where he built an enormous Tree Ent (from Lord of the Rings) kneeling on a car, and famously a huge scorpion suspended from a wooden frame of tree trunks.

How cool and different.........
~In His Love~ Maggi D
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

There's a skill and unique art form. Ther are a few chainsaw artists around the Pacific Northwest, too, though I don't know any of their names.

This works well as a grouping.
