Interesting, this almost looks like a pencil drawing.
It's the Photographer that takes the Photo not the Camera.

Yeah, those effect tools can often rescue an other than perfect photo. Still, you started with a very interesting subject here. Jacqui is right, this looks like a penciled illustration in a book about the Arabian Knights or something.
