These old boats are beautifully maintained and raced very keenly all round Strangford lough during the summer months. My earliest races I remember these out racing - they are part of the lough. This one was part of a Club race.

I was in the sailing club at school!...we built GP'S from scratch ,all marine ply and alot of sanding and polishing!..lol....We then had a week's sailing up at Newton on the Northumbrian coast,I used to love it.........of course that was way back in,emmmmmmmmmm 1969!....the late dark, to early middle ages!.....lol

Thank you very much Nigel and Unreged. Sometimes I get asked but as we are often racing ourselves it is not possible to get shots of others - so it is only the odd times I get shots. Viv
