Gyr x Saker 11



This is the female Gyr x Saker featured in an earlier upload. here she is coming in to take some bait being used by the falconer, she had dropped from about 400 feet and this shot was taken when she was about 90-100 feet out and about twenty feet from the ground. She was coming in at a fair old rate of knots !
Not the best of photos, but should give an idea of how the bird looks in the air!

Great take and focus for a difficult shot given the speed she must have been travelling at! For me I'd have liked a closer crop but that's me...Colin Smile
