Sunset - Latakia Beach - Syria (4 hrs from Damascus City)

Waited for the sun to come down and grabbed the opportunity as the vessel passed. This was in Latakia Beach, a Port Town in Syria, where I went on Holidays last week.

Love the colours and silhouette of the boat which completes the shot but for me I'm not too sure about the jetty...Colin Smile

Thanks for your valid comment Colin! Any suggestions to improve this? Cropping out the Jetty?

Possibly although you'd probably end up doing what I do and experiment but lets not forget that this is already a lovely image... Colin

I love this but tend to agree with Colin and may have got rid of the jetty. I love the silhouettes and the colouring which is so warm. Is a fab shot, well done.

I agree with the others, but how about just cloning out the post. I think the jetty in itself is dark enough not to be a distraction. It is a lovely capture otherwise.SmileCat

I love this and the rays of light from the cloud. I actually like the post - it sort of balances the composition, but I am no expert. Viv

Thank you all for your comments. I have a cropped version of this without the Post, and am wondering if I am allowed to post it here!
