Just for fun this! It looks like we are having a hard night sailing passage. Truth is we ran aground after racing on the way over the shallow patch into the pool where our Club pontoon sits. Some kids had managed to wreck our outbard engine by overturning our punt, so we rushed in on a dropping tide so that we could work on it and judged it wrong!! We eventually floated off at 11.30 on a lovely warm night, and it gave us an hour to play with our cameras. The light on Gil's face was from his camera live view.
Lol! Thanks Amanda. The cabin lights are lighting the wheel - we were not going anywhere ( lol!!!) so night vision did not matter. We just forked out £440 on a new outboard for our dinghy this morning!!! But the other one was 18 years old. It could have been worse - it might have been a brand new one which was wrecked. Viv
Nicely done under the conditions Viv......you were lucky to be near the bottom of the tide when you ran aground, or you would have had plenty of time to play with the cameras........I was whining to you about my problem, and you had your own to sort out.......anyway, you now have a nice new outbourd and no damage done to the boat.......Alan
Now there's a good line....we are stuck on a sandbar so might have to spend the night together!! Good to hear it was not rocks Viv...john We're off to see the Lizard~~the wonderful (sic) Lizard of Oz~~
What an adventure without leaving home, great ambiance too! Great lighting my fdriend!
