Possibly the strings are too out-of-focus, as they supply a nice counterpoint to the foreground. Being a tad too fuzzy, I felt that my eye was reluctant to be drawn too far into the photo, but that may just be me!
Clever idea Colin...have a look at your lighting...you might need to soften it a little or put some flags in to avoid the blown out highlights...john We're off to see the Lizard~~the wonderful (sic) Lizard of Oz~~
