Hello stranger, how goes the shop? Have to stop in soon. Great image! Did you use HDR or darkroom lighting? Your exif info has disapeared and I find it does that with mine if i use it. Wonderful image, drop one off more often!

No HDR, no plug-ins. Just 8:14am in the right place and underexposed 2 stops! I did, however, remove an annoying twig from the left side of the photo. -Yak

It was a very close run thing. I always look forward to seeing your images and in my eyes this was really the winner as it was a bird in the wild where as mine was a portrait at a Falconry. All the best.

Guess I missed this later than most! Beautiful job on that background lighting. Two stops? I've been going down one or one 1/2....two really looks much much better! You just keep getting better and better - and we all learn a lot from your shots.
