Lovely Leopard, though I find the background distracting. What was the original background like?

shes not fat! Bless her , she is 15 years old and still looks great. The original background was black, but it wasnt a very clean black, so I thought making it totaly black would make her stand out a bit. If you have any suggestions on what colour would look good, I would love to hear your comments. and I will also try out your suggestions for colours.
