These beech trees are nearly 300 hundred years old and form a long corridor over a what used to be an estate road but is now a public roadway.

I was on my way back to school work and I saw this and had to comment. The trees are gorgeous! I imagine they were standing there as horses and buggy's rode by and now we see an eighteen wheeler! We captured! Smile

Thanks all for your comments. Alan the railway ran at 90 degrees across this avenue just where you see the gap in the two rows of trees. Sad they cut some trees down for the line but funny that the others outlived the railway line. Viv
