Thanks all! Chris I was aiming for cloudy moody. Lol Bridget - well there was noise - I used a noise fliter - I had brain freeze when doing this and forgot to switch to manual and I ended up having to use ISO500...Lol! I wonder what the noise will be like on the new 50D? Viv

My guess is it'll be about the same, but I think you'll get more usable iso's to choose from on the top end of the scale. Are you getting one? I wonder if it'll weigh more than the 40D, which could already drag you straight to the bottom if you fell in the lake with it.
Lol!! The weightlifting is good for your arms Chris. It is the high end ISOs I was thinking of - I love rootling around in the semi-dark. Canon are chasing Nikon and they say the noise is less. Viv

I think you got that backwards, Viv. Nikon is mimicking Canon in the noise race (evidensed by their recent change to CMOS censors so they could be like their heroes, Canon). When Nikon gets up in the morning, they do deep knee bends and then repeat, "I wanna be Canon," fifty times before heading out the door.
Olympus just ignores all the others, nuff sad!!!! Great shot, love the amber tones.....
