Thanks Amanda, Steve and Funbeast. Lol Funbeast - I move in very slowly. I heard something on the radio which fits with the way I do it - apparently their brains are set up to see rapid movement and not slow stuff. Viv

What amazing detail you get Viv.....and with that minute dof, you choose the right bits to have in focus, which I think is the hard part of macro.....my hat's off to the Queen of macro..... Smile
