St. Mark's Square is the physical and spiritual heart of Venice. In this early morning shot you can see the corner of St. Mark's Basilica on the left as well as the Doge's Palace. In the distance are the pillars of St. Mark and St. George. By mid-day each day the square is filled with thousands of visitors.
