Hi Alan, and thank you. The 'Journeyman Farrier' is worth his weight in gold in the US. The hot shoe method is the best way as they can seat the shoe on the hoof perfectly. Plus it's less stress on their wrists and arms than the cold shoe method. The smell does take some getting used to. Lol.
