.....waiting for that egg to boil. Yippeeeee...I have a new lens to play with! Something for the dark winter nights. Not well thrown together this but I really was waiting for my egg to boil.
Congrats on the lens! Early Christmas? Like the focus work you did and the white balance, I can never get that right! What came first? The egg or the lens?

A pressy to myself!! I just had my old kit lens and have wanted a fast lens for ages. It was the chicken came first naturally..lol!! (Poor chicken if it laid my lens...ouch!!) Viv

I'm dying to know what the new lens is, since the discussion we had earlier. The EXIF data on the picture of the bench said 35mm, so I thought it might be the 35 f/2, but this one says 17mm, so I can't guess? Come on, you, out with it!
Sorry Chris - I got the 17-55mm F2.8 IS USM Canon lens. But prices were very reduced (courtesy of the recession I think) so I got the nifty fifty as well. I love them both!! The IS and the F2.8 just mean you can handhold almost anything - well almost anything! Viv
