"I want a puppy"

"I want a puppy"

One of the last shoots I did for the newspaper before my internship ended and I headed back home for the holidays. Flagstaff was doing its annual tree-lighting ceremony and Santa came to the City Hall in a firetruck. This girl was one of the first in line.

I read somewhere that Santas with fake beards were out this year. This guy's looks natural, so he's okay I guess. Marketing; what'ya'gonna do?

This is a great picture and quite remarkably useful at 3200 iso. The girl is in heaven, the man is the quintesential (sp?) Santa.

Thanks Viv, Chris & Kelly! I didn't know that the fake beards were out, but this one was real (saw a little brat try to pull it off and Santa wasn't very happy about that!). My personal favorite Christmas movie would have to be "A Christmas Story" and thanks for the wishes. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season too! -- Tim
