Old Key Barn

Old Key Barn

Is this considered High Key? I'm not even sure how I did this but I've been admiring all the High Key Artists so I'm trying to copy.

Lol!!! I think this is terrific! I would call this high key. And you are playing with Topaz I think. Very effective!! Viv

Thanks, Vab. Yes, I am playing with Topaz. I can't quite get the results you and Desertpea have achieved. Although it is fun tinkering. Smile

LOL! Amanda! Oh yes, definitely high key! Great subject. Just a thought - selecting the grassed area (where all the splodges*) are and fill it with white - would look like the barn is floating. Looks like something you could play with in all kinds of ways. Well done! Jan

Thanks very much for the tip, Desertpea. It's so easy to get hooked on these effects. I almost have no time to take photos. Lol... Thanks again. Smile

Great one, Amanda. I think Jan's suggestion would be fabulous. You'll have to repost it, hopefully you'll have time to do itSmileCat

I wouldn't have thought it was an effect if you guys hadn't mentioned it above. Definitely a good high key image.

I like it and also like to do some photos in what you call high key. I like to see just what I can do with my photos and push them as far as I can. I also use Topaz, I like it. Wink Smile Keept them comming, OK. Thumbs Up!
