Good subject and lighting, but the composition doesn't work. If you'd moved further back and made it a portrait orientation you could have caught the top of the lighthouse, and the open gate, which is always an invitation to the viewer to 'walk' into the picture. As it is, cropping away everything to the left of and including the (?)pole, and cloning out the intrusion on the left would make this a much better photograph.
