Nice shot, a little more depth of field would help. The eye is perfectly sharp but the feathers look a little soft.

Thanks sadghost. This one was with a 300mm f4 L IS, with a EF25. The lens has close min focus distance, the extension tube helped to fill the frame with just the head, at about 3m.
