Sorry, Kelly, couldn't post yesterday due to the horrific storm, plus my 3 year old gelding fell through a snow drift and badly damaged his hind leg. Couldn't get a vet as all the roads were closed. Luckily I had all medications on hand. Difficulty was treating by flashlight.
Hope you managed ... and I hope today your gelding is doing much better.
Did you manage getting a Vet out???
Thankfully you had the meds on hand... hate to think the worst.
Hope your doing ok too?
"Thanks sooo much for this... it means alot to me!"
Looks bloody cold there... but rather beautiful to say the least.
What kind of bird is that with the gulls???
Funny, I was just going thru some raw shots I took awhile back & I came across a simular looking bird I was working with in CS3...
Any info would be much Appreciated. I think Amanda posted one of these just awhile ago... IF your unsure; than I guess I shall look in Amanda's images. She's gr8 with names!
Thank-you again Cat
~Kelly
Kelly, I am so happy that you liked this. I thought of you with the snow and birds, and you missing snow. The bird with the gulls is a Marbled Godwit. I am hoping to get a shot of these when the sun shines through. My dsl is also dropping me on a regular basis, I hope I can continue blogging. Rico (gelding) is very lame, nasty tear and very swollen hind leg. Vet was able to see him, and it's a wait and see situation. He's in very good health, and I always think that works for them. I'll keep Rico in my prayers... I know only too well the joy & the pain we endure with our pets & loved one's.
I'll also add one for your dsl I'd hate to NOT see you bloggging!

We really like this photo, amazing weather you are having...stay safe!
luv your photography... what crazy weather at this time of year... over here we had severe winds and rain a few days ago that tore entire trees & root systems out of the ground... have never seen anything like it"The poetry of photography will always be more important than the mechanics of the camera..." - J-H. Many thanks to all for your concern for Rico, and your lovely comments. All will be well. We have warmer weather coming CatIt's not what you look at that matters, it's what you see ~ Henry David Thoreau
