Amazing little bird that I found on the beach while in Florida. They get their name because they turn over every stone on the beach searching for food. They also dig down in the sand in search of eggs.
Thanks, Vab. I must have been at least 60 to 70 feet away. They keep one eye on you and one eye on their search for food. If you move toward them even slowly, they retreat to a more comfortable distance. Thanks again.My Gallery
