The night before last we were watching Animal Kingdom & it had a special on of the largest snakes... the python & boa was two being studied & in short they wanted to know scientifically what pounds per inch the boa could squeeze.
They placed this same type of bird in the boa cage... with wires & measuring devices taped onto its stomach... well the snake was hungry (the poor duck) and the measurement was that a 18 ft. boa's constriction was that the weight of a "Bus"... it measured @ 90 lbs per inch!!! What an eye opener that was.
