"I saw a mouse...where....?

"I saw a mouse...where....?

...there on the stair"! This cheeky wee thing ran past where I was sitting on the ground only a foot away from me. He then rummaged round in these plants. I was waiting for him to leave but when he did he was too fast and all I got was a shot of a disappearing tail!

Too cute. Sometimes a glimpse is all you need. The composition is lovely and there's lots of detail in that nervous little face. Smile

Well, I declare. Wow, good timing, Viv. We have one in our garage and often I have thought of capturing it, but they move and jump so quickly. So, well done. Cat

P.S. - Take care of your back. I'm happy to hear it's a little better, but it still sounds fragile to me. Duh! do you think the kneeling in fields helps! Lol.

I like this Viv - his little eye peeping through the grass.

Great capture, especially as they are usually so timid and fast!

Thanks all!! They are so cute - but I did not think so one winter ago - you have no idea how many we live trapped from out loft. We took them down the lane but reckon they were back in our loft before we got!! Viv
