A local cat has been trying to find my robin's nests - this parent bird was engaged in very noisey and very brave distraction tactics. At one point she was on the ground behind the cat only five feet from it and shouting her head off.
I just love it to bits, and the caption too.... just hope the cat did not get the Robin's nest........martin

You know me, I'm not a bird pic fan. However, I love this one. From the crystal clarity to the bird's unusual posture to the great blurred background, everything about this is great.
I think this is great, perfect focus and "moment in time" We had Blackbird chicks in our garden but the neighbours cat had them Do hope this family survives!!
WOnderfully crisp and clear, tells a story too, cant get any better than that!
~In His Love~ Maggi D For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16
Now this is a stunning capture. Wonderfully detailed. She certainly looks vocal. Hope her young stay safeCatIt's not what you look at that matters, it's what you see ~ Henry David Thoreau
