Although it didn't rain, there is something with these flowers... Look at the flower stalks and the small, thick leaves.. It's a succulent, the Dorotheanthus... and it has small pearl-like drops on its stalks and thick leaves.
It looks just like if it has rained and the sun allready has reappeared. I think it's an intriguing picture.
The focus reflects the 'life' of a flower: on the foreground there is this new, young, orange flower and on the background this wilted flower. Both aren't sharp, unlike the two fully open flowers that are in the middle of their life. The orange flower is too young, the wilted too old; it's for both not their time.
And allthough at first sight you could think that these are Dorotheanthi growing in wild nature.. you'll notice the shadow of the flowers on the pot
